About certpracticelab

Practice that teaches the concept, not the letter.

certpracticelab is a free practice lab for professional certifications in IT, business, and finance. Every question is original, every answer is verified and explained, and there is no signup and no paywall.

Why we built it

Most free practice sites hand you a question and a single correct letter — often crowd-guessed, sometimes wrong, and rarely explained. That teaches you to memorize an answer key, not to understand the material. When the real exam rewords the scenario, memorized letters fall apart.

We take the opposite approach. Each question is written against the publicly published exam objectives, and each answer shows why the correct option is correct, why every wrong option is a trap, and the source it was checked against. That turns a practice test into a study session.

Our editorial standard

Original, never dumps

Questions are authored to the public objectives. We never use leaked or copyrighted exam content — using "dumps" can void your certification.

Verified against sources

Answers are checked against primary sources — RFCs, vendor documentation, and standards — with the reference shown on each question.

Current exam codes

Content is written for the live exam version (e.g. Network+ N10-009), so you are never studying a retired blueprint.

Free and open

Full practice tests with no account and no paywall. The site is supported by ads and optional affiliate links, never by gating the questions.

How the site is supported

Keeping the questions free has a cost. We cover it with advertising and optional affiliate links (such as exam vouchers). Ads are kept clear of the quiz so they never interfere with answering, and affiliate links never influence which answers we mark correct. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

Independence & trademarks

certpracticelab is an independent project and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by any certifying body. CompTIA®, Network+®, Security+®, A+®, and other certification names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the exams our practice content is written for.
