certpracticelab.com ("certpracticelab", "we", "us") provides free certification practice tests. This policy explains what limited data we collect, how cookies and third-party advertising work on this site, and the choices you have. You can use the site without creating an account.

Before launch: confirm the advertising and analytics sections below match the services you actually deploy (e.g. Google AdSense, Ezoic, Google Analytics), and remove any section for a service you do not use.

1. Who we are

certpracticelab is an independent educational website offering original practice questions written against publicly published certification exam objectives. We are not affiliated with CompTIA or any other certifying body. For privacy questions, contact us at admin@certpracticelab.com.

2. Information we collect

No account, no sign-up. We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information to use the practice tests.
Practice progress (stored on your device). Your quiz scores and last attempts are saved in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.
Standard server and log data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of first-party storage mechanisms (such as localStorage) for core functionality like remembering your practice scores. In addition, the third-party services below set their own cookies in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings and the opt-out links provided.

4. Advertising

We may display ads to keep the site free. Where we use Google AdSense and its partners:

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
If we instead use an ad-management partner such as Ezoic, that partner and its advertising partners may similarly use cookies and process data to deliver and measure ads.

If you serve ads in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you must also obtain consent through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) before personalized-ad cookies are set. Wire that in before enabling ads for those regions.

5. Analytics

If we use a privacy-respecting analytics service (for example, to count page views and understand which exams are most useful), it may set cookies or process aggregated usage data. We use this only to improve the content and the site — never to identify you personally.

6. Affiliate links

Some outbound links (for example, exam vouchers or study courses) may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never change which answers we mark correct or how questions are written — they are optional and clearly presented.

7. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to third-party resources (such as RFCs or vendor documentation cited as answer sources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.

8. Children's privacy

certpracticelab is intended for individuals preparing for professional certifications and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your choices

Clear your locally stored practice scores by clearing your browser's site data.
Block or delete cookies via your browser settings.
Opt out of personalized ads via the links in the Advertising section above.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves or as required by the advertising and analytics services we use. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
